OPERATION TOOFAN 2.0

Operation Toofan 2.0

Operation Toofan 2.0: The Narco Hunt is a new initiative launched by the Kerala Police to eradicate the drug mafia. This project is being implemented jointly with the cooperation of the Education, Health, and Excise Departments.

Through this drive, Kerala Police aims to take strong legal action against drug syndicates and build a massive public defense with community participation. Designed for the digital age, the initiative specifically counters the rapid spread of synthetic drugs. Alongside delivering a strict warning to the drug mafia, the mission seeks to ensure total safety and security for the general public.

To dismantle inter-state drug networks, joint plans will be coordinated with police chiefs from neighboring South Indian states. A comprehensive digital surveillance system—including dedicated apps and WhatsApp chatbots—will allow citizens to report drug trade activities anonymously, with police guaranteeing full protection for informants.
