CIVIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Civic Duties and Responsibilities
As stakeholders in the governance system, citizens possess fundamental rights, and it is essential to ensure that these rights are guaranteed clearly and precisely. Actions contrary to these rights must be prevented, and the responsible protection of civil rights must be upheld.
Citizens also have a duty to fulfill specific obligations and responsibilities toward society and the nation, collectively known as civic duties. Voluntarily upholding and practicing these duties is the hallmark of a responsible citizen.
